PFT: A Novel Time-Frequency Decomposition of BOLD fMRI Signals for Autism Spectrum Disorder Detection

چکیده
Diagnosing Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a challenging task for clinicians due to the inconsistencies in existing medical tests. The Internet of things (IoT) has been used several applications realize advancements healthcare industry. Using machine learning tandem IoT can enhance monitoring and detection ASD. To date, most ASD studies have relied primarily on operational connectivity structural metrics fMRI data processing while neglecting temporal dynamics components. Our research proposes Progressive Fourier Transform (PFT), novel time-frequency decomposition, together with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), as preferred alternative available systems. We use Brain Imaging Data Exchange dataset model validation, demonstrating better results proposed PFT compared models, including an increase accuracy 96.7%. These show that technique capable analyzing rs-fMRI from different brain diseases same type.

Time Use of Mothers of Children With an Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Comparative Study
Objectives: Studies around the world have shown that having a child with disability impacts a mother’s time use. The purpose of this study was to compare the time use of mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with mothers of typically developing children. Methods: Eighty-four Iranian mothers (42 with ASD children and 42 with typically developing children) completed the M...

Although the problems and disabilities caused by autism spectrum disorders are constant companions to these individuals, timely treatment interventions can provide the necessary grounds for their empowerment., However, one thing that deserves attention is that regular learning environments are not often designed to meet the needs and moods of children with autism spectrum disorder. Likewise, a...
متن کاملGaze direction detection in autism spectrum disorder.
Detecting where our partners direct their gaze is an important aspect of social interaction. An atypical gaze processing has been reported in autism. However, it remains controversial whether children and adults with autism spectrum disorder interpret indirect gaze direction with typical accuracy. This study investigated whether the detection of gaze direction toward an object is less accurate ...
